Similar to Part One’s “The City of Pleasanton” and Part Two’s, the “City of Livermore’s Down Payment Assistance program”, Dublin offers a great opportunity to buy your first home.
Many First Time Home Buyers ask me what cities are offering to make home ownership affordable. First Time Homebuyer programs provide financial assistance to first time homebuyers within a certain income range to buy their first home in the form of a deferred loan. Here is a list of available programs that the City of Dublin, CA offers for First Time Homebuyers Down Payment Assistance.
Unique Features:
- No maximum purchase price
- Program can be used for Market Rate Property
- Up to 10% for the purchase price for a market rate home
- Up to 15% for the purchase price for a below market rate home.
Income Limits:
- Up to 140% of Area Median Income-Market Rate homes(one of the highest around)
- Up to 120% of Area Median Income-Below Market Rate Homes
- 30yr Deferred Loan
- Preference Points used(Live, Work, Gov Jobs, Teacher)
